The Lion King Full Movie

The lion king of Jon Favreau “reimagined”. So unbelievably it’s almost a take-over duplication of Disney’s most popular and successful movie of its Renaissance era.

With about thirty minutes of extra marinaje here and there simplified by the screenwriter and former collaborator of Brett Ratner and Steven Spielberg, Jeff Nathanson, the old tale of The Lion King, with all its strong Shakespearean elements, is re-told for a new generation. The balance between predator and prey in Pride Rock and the coming of age of an impatient lion cub named Simba are frustrated by the tragic death of his father Mufasa (James Earl Jones). The serpent oil spout and the engineer of this tragic royal blow is Mufasa’s snub-nosed and cerebral little brother, Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and his army of enlisted hyenas. Ashamed to believe that the death of his idolized father was his fault, Simba leaves the savannah and becomes an adult (Donald Glover) in a lush jungle under the practical tutelage and friendship of a meerkat named Timon (Billy Eichner) and a boar named Pumba (Seth Rogen). When his ex-lioness fiance (Beyonce Knowles-Carter) and a spiritual wizard (John Kani) from his past discover that Simba is alive, they urge him to return home and claim his birthright.

As in 1994, the catchy “Hakuna Matata” includes its didactic nugget specially packaged for the target audience. The phrase in Swahili that means “without problems” is still good advice to overcome the mistakes of the past and the perceived failures with a change of attitude to focus on the present and the future.

It is the current entertainment landscape and the future dividends that have driven this 2019 presentation to an immense level of anticipation. There is no doubt that the surprise and constant factor of this film is an impressive visual and technical spectacle. The photographic animation of The Moving Picture Company overseen by three-time Oscar winner Robert Legato, Jungle Book Oscar winner Adam Valdez, and the promoted superintendent Elliot Newman add layers and divine and ethereal qualities to every corner of the world. the laboratory cinematography of Caleb Deschanel, up to the wind, insects, hair and dust. The conjured natural beauty and physicality of the animals are easily some of the most beautiful CGI works that Disney has filmed.

Stellar voice work would overcome that weakness. However, this update lacks a striking performance, even with a modern attitude of “let’s do it”. Now, at 88, the returning Jones has lost a bit of timbre, but counts as another ingredient of duplication rather than an opportunity for novelty. Ejiofor is a less oily scar than Jeremy Irons, and his calculated line deliveries of sinister intent and ruthless edge are underestimated and far too quiet to some extent. Glover and Knowles feel like they are reading something other than emoting and dramatizing. The greatest zeal, naturally, comes from the characters with more personality, the trick of Eichner and Rogen to embezzle every episode of their participation.

What gave the Lion King of 1994 its lasting importance is the feature of majesty. The songs composed by the famous Elton John with lyrics by Tim Rice, creator of Disney hits, attracted magnetic interest. The soundtrack of percussion and choir by Hans Zimmer, which is his only Oscar-winning work, raised the powerful presence of the entire film to achieve an impact that stops the show. That memorable music, recomposed and reworked by the three men with the infusion and the addition of Beyonce, is the most intelligent anchoring element and, in the end, the most essential element of this transfer. That life force is retained successfully instead of lost. Now, musical majesty has a visual that matches and radiates, prepared to awaken both the amazement of the new and that of the old.

Finally, the generosity of wisdom and the actions of a ruler gain more loyalty among their subjects than any fear or oppressive control. Mufasa and Simba earned that loyalty. The other animals in their organic orb of influence genuflect in respect. Can the same effect be evoked in the public that observes Jon Favreau’s new achievement? by winning or losing confidence in Disney’s reputation.

The notice of a certain work by Disney’s EL REY LEÓN, by Dean Jon Favreau, takes us to the African savanna where a future king has appeared. Simba idolizes its author, King Mufasa, and is robbed of his royal fortune. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the enthronement of the fresh little son. Scar, the monk of Mufasa and ancestral beneficiary to the throne, has his own plans. The Pride Rock fight is tinged with infidelity, hecatomb and farce, and ends up forcing Simba into oblivion. With the help of a curious care of new relationships, Simba will have to manage to increase and retaliate what is rightfully his.
