Aladdin Full Movie
The new Disney “Aladdin 4” is a great show, a mix of CGI and live action with great colors, action and fascinating production numbers.
But the most brilliant and attractive feature is the incredible Naomi Scott. Scott, who was part of the set “Power Rangers”, plays Princess Jasmine in a really remarkable performance. Not only that, she is also a great singer who sings songs that gives the film a lot of brightness, listening to it is worth the price of the film.
This is not a complete remake of the animated version of 1992. There are many differences, including an additional song. With all the magnificent settings and highly detailed and brilliant melodies, you can not confuse this with anything more than what it is: A beautifully executed musical.
The film, is set in the fictional city of Agrabah, is still about Aladdin, who is played by Mena Moussaud of the television network of “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan”. Before meeting him, we met a couple and their children aboard a ship, where the father tells us the story that unfolds.
Good Aladdin is a thief with a big heart. He is very professional in what he does and quickly makes his way through the market. His monkey Abu, regularly helps him flee with the booty.
When he meets Jasmine, who is walking the streets of Agrabah with his maid (Nasim Pedrad, “Saturday Night Live.”) Aladdin has no idea what he is talking about with royalty. A true princess heiress of a kingdom. Meanwhile, the princess is frustrated to be a kind of prisoner in her luxurious abode. For that reason he likes to go unnoticed by the city and pretend that it is one more of the city.
The power hungry Jafar (Marwan Kenzari, “Ben-Hur”) lurks around every corner to thwart the good intentions of almost everyone around him. He is bad by nature.
Aladdin comes into possession of a magic lamp that possesses a great blue genius within it, and the beloved and affable Will Smith in the role of the wonderful genius. Smith never tries to convert the genius, expressed by Robin Williams in the previous film, into a Williams wannabe; instead, it gives the genie its own energy which is quite pleasant.
Director Guy Ritchie (“Sherlock Holmes”) wanted to update the songs, and that approach works most of the time. Composer Alan Menken and award-winning songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“The Greatest Showman”) collaborated on the “Speechless” show to induce Scott’s applause to perfection with a recently emphasized facet of female empowerment.
The CGI is great. You will really love it and especially in the way that the carpet comes alive. It is great and full of light, color and ingenuity.
Massoud and Scott have the chemistry on screen that is needed to make the public feel attracted to their romance. And they take advantage of it very well.
It is understood why some fans of the 1992 classic will consider this to be nothing more than a theft of money. It is far from perfect. It’s too long, especially for a film aimed at the family audience.
Even so, the magic of Disney finally shines. And the beautiful Jasmine, makes her debut perfectly, is a great female role model.
It may not be a completely new world, but it is a story that is worth seeing in a new light.
Aladdin is a pleasant yet annoying cackling mellifluous of the Sultan’s daughter, Princess Jasmine. To try to conquer it, he accepts the fight of Jafar, which consists of getting a cave in fraction of the stubble to discover a magic lantern that will grant all his wishes. That is where Aladdin will meet the Genie, giving place of honor to a wandering as in no way had he previously imagined.
